How to Vote in Richmond Hill’s 2026 Municipal Election
Voting Day is Monday, October 26, 2026.
Richmond Hill voters will have the option to vote online or in person by paper ballot.
In the 2026 Municipal Election, voters will elect a Mayor, up to two Regional Councillors, a local Councillor and School Board Trustees.

Online voting opens: Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM
Online voting closes: Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8:00 PM
Online voting gives eligible Richmond Hill voters the option to cast their ballot securely during the voting period without going to an in-person voting location.
Final voter login instructions and requirements will be provided by the City of Richmond Hill.
